Pokémon Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Harrod’s Collaboration

The brand will take over the 4th floor of the Knightsbridge, London location. For one month, Pokémon fans can immerse themselves in the past 25 years of the franchise through a partnership with Harrod’s. The toy section of Harrod’s will feature displays with the 24 first partner Pokémon from all eight regions from the game. Trading cards, stationery and toys will be available for purchase. The Pokémon takeover starts on July 27.

A Nintendo museum in Japan!

Nintendo is working on a project for a museum in Japan that will trace its 130 years of existence. This museum will not be built before 2023 or 2024. It will be located a few kilometers from the center of Kyoto, where Nintendo's headquarters are located. It will be located on the grounds of a former factory. The museum will showcase the many products that Nintendo has launched throughout its history. Interactive experiences should be available. Some nice surprises to come!

The world's largest Harry Potter store in New York

The biggest store dedicated to Harry Potter in the world has opened its doors in the United States in New York. A space of more than 2000 m² on 3 floors entirely dedicated to the universe of the famous wizard imagined by the British author J.K. Rowling. Wizard dresses, wands, Hogwarts school clothes, flying broomsticks... the store is a temple of derivative products dedicated to Harry Potter. Fans can now get their hands on handmade accessories, enjoy many interactive elements, all in 15 different thematic areas taking up the codes of the novels and films from the wizard's universe but also from the Fantastic Animals. In addition to the products for sale, the Harry Potter store displays more than 1,000 accessories from the wizarding world, including objects used on the set of the films. The store also offers virtual reality spaces.

McDonald's partners with BTS, the famous South Korean K-Pop group

McDonald's launches a new collaboration with BTS, the famous Korean boy band. The BTS menu consists of nuggets, a Coke, French fries, but especially "Sweet Chili" and "Cajun" sauces, present in many South Korean recipes. A 37-second spot was produced by the agency Wieden+Kennedy in which the 7 members of the group make official the release of the menu in 40 countries. They are seen talking about their love for the fast food giant, presenting and tasting the famous menu, all to the soundtrack of their latest hit, "Butter", which has 229 million views on YouTube. The menu will not be available in France, a big disappointment for the fans! In addition to the menu, McDonald's has unveiled a limited edition collection of clothing and accessories featuring the South Korean group with caps, hoodies, bathrobes, umbrellas, Sweet Chili and Cajun bags, keychains, etc. Finally, McDonald's will be releasing new digital content featuring the 7 young men over the next four weeks. A first for the brand!
